Fellowships:
Arts For Life’s Fellowship Program is designed for emerging & professional artists seeking ways to utilize their skills with youth in their communities. In the program, Arts For Life staff trains & supervises the Fellows in teaching the arts to young patients in hospital settings for 6-24 hours each week. Fellows work with Arts For Life for a minimum of 1 year. Learn More
Volunteer:
Volunteers are a key component of Arts For Life. Their dedication, expertise, and generosity keep our organization going. We have several different types of volunteers and all are vitally important to Arts For Life. Learn More
Internships:
- Arts For Life offers internships to college students, recent graduates, and community members across North Carolina. There are four AFL chapters: Asheville, Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Durham.
- AFL staff train interns to teach visual arts, music and creative writing to pediatric patients and their siblings.
- Interns gain skills in teaching the arts, working in hospital settings, and mentoring patients with serious illnesses. Learn More
