Arts For Life Asheville
Program Director: Annie Rogers
Location: Mission Hospital/Mission Reuter Children’s Outpatient Center
Annie Rogers and her team of interns, artist fellows, and volunteers provide over 130 hours of direct art lessons to young patients at Mission Hospital each week. They teach lessons at our art stations and at patients’ bedsides.
Programs:
Clinic Art Station (AFL operates 2 art stations 5 days a week for 8 hours each day at the Zeis Clinic and the Huff Center)

Arts For Life Charlotte
Program Director: Sarah Pike Alexander
Location: Presbyterian Hospital’s Hemby Inpatient Unit and Blume Clinic
Sarah Alexander and her team of volunteers and interns teach over 50 hours of art lessons to young patients each week. They teach lessons at AFL’s clinic art station and at patients’ bedsides and in treatment areas.

Program Director: Mary Margaret Fulk
Location: Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center
Mary Margaret Fulk and her team of volunteers teach 32-50 hours of art lessons to young patients each week. They teach patients in their clinic rooms, at the AFL clinic art table, and on the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.

Location: Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center: Brenner Children’s Hospital
Betsey McLawhorn and her team of interns, artist fellows and volunteers work with patients for over 80 hours each week. They teach lessons at AFL art stations and at patients’ bedsides.
